Girl with terminal cancer talks about unnoticeable symptoms of the disease

A girl named Marianne Browning told a story about how she did not immediately notice the development of melanoma, contacting a doctor only at the last stage of the disease. This is reported by the Daily Mail.

According to Browning, she was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma when she was just 22 years old. The disease was silent, without moles or other skin symptoms that usually indicate melanoma. The disease became known only after a lump appeared on the leg, caused by inflammation of the lymph node. Later it turned out that the skin cancer had already spread to the lymphatic system and metastasized to the organs of the abdominal area.

The American noted that the chances of living longer than five years were extremely small. However, she agreed to treatment, which included surgery to remove the tumors and a course of chemotherapy.

“I don’t even have words to express what a stressful and scary time it was,” the girl said .

The treatment was complicated due to a severe intestinal infection, and a year later cancer cells appeared in the brain.

However, after another year, the therapy gave a positive result – there are more there were no cancer cells.

A few months later, she completely stopped treatment and returned to normal life, fulfilling her long-standing plans: she got married and gave birth to a child.
